Why do you think people run from you or shutdown when you try to tell them about your network marketing business? Chances are they will even quit reading your emails, answering your calls, or make it a point to avoid you.

Why do you think that is? Let me share with you a little known network marketing secret – Create Some Mystery.

Please Do Not Do This:

Do not harass your family, friends, or co-workers (not yet at least). Why? They do not want to feel obligated or pressured to join your opportunity. It’s not comfortable, plus, they do not want to do what you just did – try to sell to your family, co-workers, and friends. It’s horrifying!

We have all felt this way-

“Hide me, here he comes again trying to get me to sign up.”

This is why they don’t want to do network marketing. They don’t want to make others feel the way you just made them feel.

The great recruiters entice you to come to them. How do they do this? Listen closely–here is one of my top network marketing secrets.

They Create Mystery. Let’s say a co-worker, friend, or family member comes up and says, “Hey man, what are you up to tonight”? Your reply, “I am creating a goal list for a new home-based business that will let me map my plan to replace my present job’s income and permit me to work from home”.

What did you just do? You created mystery which will prompt “them” to ask “you” more about it, “Oh yeah, what home-based business are you talking about”? You reply, “Ask me again in a few weeks and I will tell you all about it, I am still honing my skills as a leader”. I want to start realizing some of my goals and feel more comfortable as a leader before seeking a business partner, but I will keep you in mind if you like.”

You have not disqualified them but they can tell you are serious about your business and being a leader. Without knowing it, you just proved yourself as a leader!

Then conclude, and I do mean conclude by saying, “After a a month or so when I have honed my leadership skills and realized some success, I will be ready to teach you how you to can make money from the comfort of your home.”

Tha is all you need to say!

Yes, shut up! It is hard to do but shut up; someone else is not going to take them from you! Stay firm and do not say any more, change the subject.

Hey, I heard your son just won…blah blah blah!

Again, you just created HUGE mystery and sprinkled it with a small dose of envy, two powerful human emotions.

Haven’t you ever been attracted to a person merely because they were mysterious? Isn’t that what we want in the end, people to be attracted to us, to follow our lead, to become part of our team and build a huge business?

The next time you see the person in the example above, he or she will probably ask you again, “So are you ready for a business partner yet”? Give him some more information, or if you already have studied up my attraction marketing techniques, begin the process on him now.
